*NOTE: the nursery (0-2) will restart on August 1, 2021.
At LVBC, we offer childcare for children up to age 6. We hope that this ministry will help serve you as parents and be a blessing to your families. Here's the breakdown.
Nursery (ages 0-2)
The nursery is open throughout the duration of the service. When you arrive, please visit the registration table in the foyer. Children’s Ministry workers will be there to assist you and answer any questions you may have. They will provide you with a matching numbered wristband – one for your child and one for you. Please keep your wristband on until the end of the service when you pick up your child.
Our nursery workers will care for your child and provide you with peace of mind as you participate in the service. Please inform them of any feeding or napping needs for your child and any other helpful information.
Also, in the event that the nursery needs your assistance with your child, the hall monitor will locate you during the service.
Gospel Project for Kids (ages 3-6)
The Gospel Project for Kids is a program for children during the teaching portion of the service. Children ages 3-6 will be dismissed during the hymn preceding the sermon. This will allow your older child to participate in singing and praying with the congregation prior to beginning their program. When you arrive, please visit the registration table in the foyer to check in your child. Children’s ministry workers will be there to assist you and answer any questions you may have. You will also be able to meet and greet your child’s teacher at this time.

For this age group, we use The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum by Lifeway. The Gospel Project for Kids immerses children in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, since the gospel message changes everything, heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project for Kids, children will understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.
- Chronological approach allows kids to see how Christ fits into the whole Bible.
- Spend equal time in the Old and New Testaments, learning how every story connects to the gospel.
- Bible stories brought to life through creative teaching elements.
- Family resources and age alignment make it easy for families to grow in the gospel together.
While your child participates in The Gospel Project for Kids, they will have time for free play and games, Bible story and discussion, a song, snack, bathroom break, and arts and crafts time.
We look forward to having your child be a part of our Sunday morning program. Let us know if you have any questions by emailing email@example.com.
