Deacon of Setup
Kevin grew up in south central Pennsylvania enjoying hunting, fishing and spending time with family. Family trips to Gettysburg stirred in him a love of history leading him to college degrees in History and Civil War studies, and a career working for national, private and state historical parks. In 2010, he married his best friend, Megan, and the two of them now live in Charles Town, WV with their two daughters and a beagle. They are blessed to be a part of LVBC and enjoy good music, spending time with their daughters, friends and family, and exploring historic sites and towns.
Deacon of Women's Ministry
Abi is married to Brad and they live in Round Hill with their 4 children and 2 dogs. Abi Has a degree in Music and Education from Cambridge University and has worked as Children's Ministry Director at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington DC, has served on the mission field in the UK and Kosovo in the Balkans. She currently teaches piano part time and speaks internationally and within the US at retreats for churches as well as working with the Charles Simeon Trust equipping women to teach The Bible expositionally in their churches.
Deacon of Ushers & Greeters
Jason Heki moved to Northern Virginia from Des Moines, Iowa. He studied Political Theory at Patrick Henry College and worked in nonprofit development before shifting to the cyber security industry. He and his wife, Aubrey, helped found and plant Loudoun Valley Baptist Church in August 2016. Passionate about people and problem solving, the move to start LVBC was a natural fit. With encouragement from others, Jason took the role of managing Ushers and Greeters. Grateful to work with an amazing group of friends, Jason ensures that members and visitors feel welcomed to a warm and grace-filled community. In his free time, Jason likes to go running, play with tech gadgets, visit new places, and spend time with his wife and three children.
Deacon of Children's Ministry
Corrie grew up in Colorado and Oklahoma before moving to Northern Virginia for college where she met her husband, Peter. Corrie stays busy being a mom to her five kids and is glad to get to be a part of providing a Gospel-centered Children’s Ministry at LVBC. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends and (when she can find a quiet moment) curling up with a good book.
